Information only

In short Everything here is for information and enjoyment, not professional advice. Check anything important with a qualified person.

Our content, calculators, quizzes, puzzles, recipes and other tools are for general information and enjoyment only.

They are not professional advice of any kind, including financial, medical, legal or safety advice.

Check anything important with a qualified person before you rely on it. A result is never permission to drive, take a medicine or make any other safety decision.

Nutrition figures on isthebestrecipe.com are estimates from USDA FoodData Central for the listed ingredients. They are not diet or medical advice.

On isthebestrecipe.com, changed amounts and measurement conversions are worked out by our software for general use. Check doneness and food safety yourself.

Provided as is

In short The sites come as is. We don't promise they are error-free, always available or right for your purpose, and we may change them at any time.

We provide the sites as is and as available.

We do not promise that they are free of errors, always available, or right for your purpose.

We may change, pause or remove any part of the sites at any time.

Your account

In short Accounts are free, optional and for people 18 or older. One account works across our sites, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

An account is optional. One free account works across the IsTheBestNetwork sites.

When you create an account, the page shows links to these Terms and our Privacy page right above the Create account button. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy page explains how we handle your information.

You must be 18 or older to create one. Use your own name and an email address you control.

Daily texts are only for people 18 or older. Daily topics about alcohol, such as those on isthebestcocktail.com and isthebestwine.com, are only for people 21 or older and come by email only.

When you create an account, we email you a confirmation link and a code. Your account opens only after you confirm your email address with the link, or with the code if the link opens in another browser or does not work. If you did not ask for the email, ignore it. No account opens unless the email address is confirmed.

To sign in, we email you a link and a code. Anyone who can read that inbox can sign in to your account, so keep it secure. Do not share sign-in links or codes. If you think someone else has used your account, write to hello@isthebestnetwork.com.

By creating an account, you agree that we may email you about your account, such as confirmation and sign-in emails, changes you make and the receipt when you delete it. These emails are separate from the daily emails you choose, and unsubscribing from a daily email does not stop them.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time from the account page or by writing to hello@isthebestnetwork.com. After your Network account is deleted and its daily messages have stopped, we email you a receipt. We then finish any remaining CRM cleanup. Your deletion result says what was removed, what is kept and why, and whether any cleanup is still pending.

We may limit, suspend, or end access when reasonably necessary to protect the sites, their users, EverIntent or others, or to meet a legal obligation. This includes suspending or deleting an account that breaks these terms, gives false information, or was created for someone else or with software.

Daily emails

In short Daily emails are optional and free. Topics you pick in your account arrive together in one IsTheBestNetwork Daily, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

isthebestquiz.com, isthebestsudoku.com and our sign-up page at isthebestnetwork.com/subscribe offer an optional, free daily email. Sign up only with an email address that is yours.

If you have an account, you can also choose daily topics from our sites, such as the daily Sudoku or the daily joke. All the topics you choose by email come together in one email, the IsTheBestNetwork Daily. It comes at most once a day, or weekly or monthly if you choose, and you can pause it. If you also choose daily texts, you get at most one daily text a day across all your topics.

Every daily email says who it is from, carries our postal address and has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. In the IsTheBestNetwork Daily, one unsubscribe link stops it, and a second link stops all our marketing email. You can also change how often it comes, pause it, turn a topic off in your account or write to hello@isthebestnetwork.com. Unsubscribing does not close your account.

Daily texts

In short Texts are optional, for people 18 or older with US mobile numbers, and come from (562) 684-6483. Reply STOP to end them.

Who sends them: these terms apply to every text message from IsTheBestNetwork and its sites, brands of EverIntent LLC. Our daily texts come from (562) 684-6483. We text only people who opt in as described below, except a one-time text with a link that you ask for on a call to us, described under Calls to us.

What you get: if you opt in, we text you the daily topic you chose, such as the day's quiz or Sudoku puzzle, with a link to it on our site. These are recurring automated marketing texts.

Confirming: after you opt in, we send one text confirming it.

How to opt in: on isthebestnetwork.com/subscribe, or in your account on a site that shows a text option for its daily topic, enter your mobile number and check the text box, which is never checked for you. Texting is never required: joining, the email sign-up and every game work without it. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Each text box names the site and topic it covers, and checking it agrees to texts for that topic only. A site shows a text box only for topics our texting provider has approved.

How often: up to 1 daily-topic marketing text per number per day across all the topics you choose. We also send the opt-in confirmation and replies to HELP or opt-out requests described here.

When: we send daily-topic texts between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. your local time, subject to any shorter hours that apply where you are.

Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

How to stop: reply STOP to any message. This stops all our texts to that number. We also honor QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL and UNSUBSCRIBE, and you can tell us in any other reasonable way, such as by writing to hello@isthebestnetwork.com; we stop promptly, and always within 10 business days. You may receive one final text confirming that you are unsubscribed. To stop just one topic, turn it off in your account. To rejoin, reply START or opt in again.

Help: reply HELP to any message, or write to hello@isthebestnetwork.com.

Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number: daily texts are only for US mobile numbers. Use only a mobile number that is yours. If you change or give up your mobile number, reply STOP from it first.

Who can join: daily texts are only for people 18 or older.

Privacy: see our Privacy page.

Calls to us

In short We don't make marketing calls. An AI assistant may answer our line. Before you speak, a notice tells you it is AI, that your words are transcribed and, if so, that the call is recorded.

We do not make marketing calls, and we do not send prerecorded or AI voice calls or voice messages. We reach out only by email and text, as described above.

Our phone line, (562) 684-6483, may be answered by an AI voice assistant, not a person. It can answer basic questions about IsTheBestNetwork. It does not take messages.

Before you speak with the AI assistant, you hear a notice that it is an AI assistant and that our phone service provider transcribes your words for us. If the call will also be recorded, the notice says so. Continue only if you agree. If you ask whether you are talking with a person, the assistant tells you it is an AI.

If you would rather not talk with an AI assistant or be recorded, hang up and write to hello@isthebestnetwork.com instead. A person reads email sent there.

Please do not share payment, health or other sensitive information on a call.

The assistant can make mistakes. It cannot change these terms, make offers or agree to anything for us. If something matters to you, ask us to confirm it by email.

Visiting our sites, playing a game, calling us or making a privacy request never signs you up for our emails or texts.

Our Privacy page explains how we handle call recordings and transcripts.

If you ask during a call, the assistant can send one text with a link you asked for, such as a link to a page on our sites, to the number you are calling from. It sends that text only when you ask, and it holds only that link and our name. It is not marketing and does not sign you up for our texts. Reply STOP to it to block all our texts to that number.

If you tell the assistant you want our emails or texts to stop, we stop them within 10 business days, as for any other request to stop.

Rules for using the sites

In short Use the sites lawfully, don't attack them, and don't sign up anyone else.

Use the sites lawfully, and do not use them to harm anyone.

Do not attack, probe, overload or disrupt the sites or the systems behind them.

Do not get around a limit, whether by hand or with software.

Do not sign up anyone else for our daily emails or texts, or request sign-in emails for anyone else.

Do not attempt unauthorized access to an account, system, route, data, or provider.

If the sites are misused

In short We can limit, suspend or ban misuse, and we may refuse service. You can appeal a ban, suspension or removal once, within 30 days.

We may block, limit or suspend any use of the sites, or any account, that breaks these terms or harms the sites or other people.

We may refuse service to anyone. At our discretion and consistent with the law, we may block any person, account, network (IP) address or device from using the sites or from submitting content. We never refuse service because of race, religion, sex, disability or another trait the law protects.

We may refuse, remove or hold back anything submitted to the sites. Some content can never be saved on our sites, not even privately: anything that sexualizes or targets children; hate against people because of a trait the law protects; defamation of a religion or its followers; threats or incitement to violence; publishing someone's private information to expose or harm them; illegal content; and anything else our content rules list as never allowed. The site refuses it when you try to save it. Where the law requires us to report or preserve something, such as content that appears to exploit a child, we do so.

We count each refused attempt to save such content. After repeated attempts, we warn you that you are close to an automatic ban, and the next attempt bans you automatically. This is the only ban we make automatically; a person decides every other suspension or ban.

A ban applies on every IsTheBestNetwork site. Our notice of a ban, a suspension or the removal of something you submitted always states the reason and how to appeal. A ban does not take away your right to see, correct or delete your information or to stop our emails and texts, as our Privacy page explains.

You may appeal a ban, a suspension or the removal of something you submitted, once for each decision, within 30 days of its notice, at isthebestnetwork.com/support (choose Appeal a decision), or by writing to hello@isthebestnetwork.com with the word Appeal if you cannot use that page. Your appeal is reviewed by a person who did not make the decision, or by the owner of EverIntent LLC, who may use an AI review to help and then decides himself. We send you a written decision within 10 business days of receiving it. The decision stays in place during the review. The decision on the appeal is final. Content refused when you try to save it was never published, so there is nothing to appeal; an automatic ban can be appealed. Ending or deleting an account for breaking these terms counts as a ban for this purpose.

Our content

In short Share links freely. Ask before you copy or republish our content, unless the law or a page's open license allows it.

EverIntent LLC and its licensors keep their rights in the sites, including the text, questions, puzzles, recipes, images and design.

You may use the sites for your own purposes and share links to them. Do not copy or republish our content without permission, unless the law allows it or a page says its content is shared under an open license, in which case that license applies.

Limits on our liability

In short As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data. Rights the law won't let us limit stay yours.

To the extent the law allows, EverIntent LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, that come from your use of the sites.

Nothing in these terms limits a right you have by law that cannot be limited.

Governing law

In short California law applies, except where another law must. Disputes go to state or federal courts serving Los Angeles County, subject to rights you can't waive.

These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, except where another law must apply. Subject to rights that cannot be waived, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts serving Los Angeles County, California.

Your privacy

In short Our Privacy page explains what we keep. Every action on the sites records your network address and device details for security and to enforce these terms, and this can't be turned off.

Our Privacy page explains what we keep, why, and how to delete it.

To keep the sites secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and enforce these terms, we record your network (IP) address and your browser, device and app details with every action on the sites. This is part of using the sites and your account, and it cannot be turned off. Our Privacy page explains these records and how long we keep them.

Changes to these terms

In short Every change gets a new version and date. A material change to your account applies only after you see it and choose Continue. We don't email about changes.

These terms have a version number and the date they took effect, shown at the top. We do not change a published version. A change means a new version, with a new number and date.

If you do not have an account, a new version applies to your use of the sites from its date. If a material change affects your account, we show you what changed and the new terms before you next use your account under those changes, including when you are already signed in. The changed terms apply to your account only after you choose Continue with the agreement notice shown. If you do not agree, the prior terms keep applying to what you already use, only the changed part is held back, and you can still use the sites without signing in, download or correct your data, change your email and text choices and delete your account. Other changes apply from the new version's date. A new version does not change the terms that applied to earlier events.

We do not email you about changes.

Your account records which versions of these terms you agreed to and which versions of our Privacy page you were shown. Each consent record keeps the versions shown with it. If we ask you to agree to a materially different use of information we already hold about you, we record that specific use and your choice separately.
