Privacy for IsTheBestClock
IsTheBestClock is part of IsTheBestNetwork, run by EverIntent LLC. This page is the same on every site in the network.
Each section starts with a short summary in plain words. The summary is only a guide; the full text under it is what applies.

Who runs IsTheBestClock
In short EverIntent LLC runs these sites, and this page covers every one of them.
IsTheBestClock is part of IsTheBestNetwork. IsTheBestNetwork is owned and operated by EverIntent LLC, 2892 N Bellflower Blvd PMB 1018, Long Beach, CA 90815-1125, United States.
This page covers isthebestnetwork.com and every IsTheBestNetwork site that links to it or shows it on its own address, including isthebestquiz.com, isthebestsudoku.com, isthebestsurvey.com, isthebestclock.com, isthebestcountdown.com, isthebestcocktail.com, isthebestwine.com and isthebestrecipe.com. It does not cover websites or services outside IsTheBestNetwork.

What we collect
In short What you give us when you join, sign up, call or write to us, plus the records our sites and host keep of each visit and action.
Your account: if you create an account, your first and last name, your email address, the daily topics and channels you choose and, if you choose texts, your mobile number. We also keep which versions of this page and the Terms you saw, and the site and time you signed up.
Daily email sign-ups: if you sign up for a daily email, your email address, the record of your consent, the site you signed up on and, if the sign-up includes it, your streak at that moment.
Your progress: your work and progress stay in your browser, on your device. The answer and grid checks sent to us are described under Your progress.
Standard hosting logs: like any website, our host records your network (IP) address and browser details when you visit.
Sign-up page: where isthebestnetwork.com/subscribe is open, it asks your first name and email address and, only if you are 18 or older and choose daily texts, your mobile number. It also asks your birth month and year to check your age. We use that answer only for the check and do not keep it.
Calls: if you call us, your phone number, the call's details and a recording and transcript of the call, as described under Calls to us.
We ask for your name when you create an account or use the sign-up page. You may also give us your name when you call or write to us. What happens to this information is set out below.
Security records: with every action on our sites, we record your network (IP) address, your browser, device and app details and the time, as described under Security.
Messages: if you write to us through a form on our sites or by email, what you send and our replies, as described under Messages to us. If you work with us as a partner, your work contact details, as described under Partners.
Your account
In short Accounts are optional and for people 18 or older, and one account works across our sites.
You can use every site without an account. An account is optional.
One free account works across the IsTheBestNetwork sites. Each site signs you in on its own. Signing out on one site does not sign you out of the others.
When you join, we ask your birth month and year, your first and last name and your email address, and you choose your daily topics and how you get them. Accounts are for people 18 or older, and daily topics about alcohol are for people 21 or older. For a daily email topic about alcohol, we check your age from that same birth month and year; we never ask for a full date of birth for it, and alcohol topics are never sent by text. We use your birth month and year only to check these ages and do not keep them; we keep only whether you met each age rule.
We email you a confirmation link and a code. Your account opens only after you confirm your email address with the link, or with the code if the link opens in another browser or does not work. To sign in, we email you a link and a code. Our CRM sends our account and daily email, including confirmation and sign-in emails, deletion receipts and daily emails. Account emails hold nothing promotional. If you did not ask for one, ignore it. No account opens unless the email address is confirmed.
If you start signing up but do not confirm, we delete that unfinished request within two days. The link and code in our email stop working long before that. We remove a CRM contact created for the request only when it is not used by another account, current sign-up or separate subscription. This cleanup does not delete those other records.
We use your name and email only to run your account, send your sign-in emails and send the daily emails and texts you choose, keep accounts secure and meet our legal duties.
Your account and consent records are stored in our database, run by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. A copy of your name, email address, mobile number (only if you choose texts) and your daily choices goes to our CRM, which sends our email and texts.
Your progress stays in your browser whether or not you are signed in, as described under Your progress.
Your account is kept until you delete it, or until we close it because it breaks our Terms. It does not expire on its own. How to delete it, and what we keep after that, is set out under Your data rights.
Your progress
In short Your progress is kept in your browser, not by us, except in the few cases below.
Your progress is kept in this browser, on this device. That includes your Daily Five answers and streak, your Sudoku grids, notes, streak and settings, the places you save on the Clock, and your recipe book, saved versions and view settings on isthebestrecipe.com.
Apart from a streak number sent with a daily email sign-up (described below), we do not keep a copy of your work or progress. If you clear your browser data, use a private window or switch devices, that progress is not there, and we cannot bring it back. Anyone else who uses the same browser can see it.
If a daily email sign-up includes your current streak, that number goes with your sign-up, as described under Daily emails. Nothing else from your work or progress leaves your browser to be kept.
When you answer a quiz question or check a Sudoku grid, your answer or grid is sent to us so we can tell you whether it is right. The Clock sends the places you saved and your device's time zone so it can work out the times. We do not store your answers, grids, places or time zone.
For each answer or grid check, we keep a short record of which question or puzzle it was, whether it was right or complete, and the time. It has no name, email or network (IP) address in it. It is kept in our host's logs, described under Companies that help us run the sites. Separately, our security records note the network (IP) address and browser details of each request, as described under Security.
Where a site lets you save progress on our servers without an account, we delete that saved progress after 12 months without use, and we remove anything in our activity records that links to you. We may keep totals that do not identify anyone.
Moving between our sites
In short A link between our sites carries nothing about you. Signed out, you aren't recognized from site to site, except to apply a block or ban.
A link from one of our sites to another carries only what the link names, such as which puzzle to open. It carries none of your progress and nothing about you.
If you are not signed in, our sites do not recognize you from one site to the next, except to apply a block or ban, as described under Security. If you sign in on a site, that site recognizes your account.
If you forward a link to someone, it does not pass on your progress or any choice you made, such as an email sign-up.
isthebestrecipe.com
In short IsTheBestRecipe works without an account, and your recipe book and settings stay in this browser.
isthebestrecipe.com is one of the sites this page covers. You can browse recipes, change amounts and measurements, follow the steps, build a shopping list, print a recipe, save it as an image and copy its link, all without an account. Where isthebestrecipe.com offers sign-in, it uses the IsTheBestNetwork account described under Your account. It has no daily email or text sign-up of its own.
Your recipe book (saved recipes and collections), cooking notes, ingredient checks, shopping list, step progress, the amounts and measurement system you choose, versions saved with Make it the best, your view settings and the skill level you pick are kept in this browser's storage on your device. A measurement change for one recipe lasts only until you close the tab. Clearing this site's data removes them, and we cannot bring them back.
Printing, saving a recipe as an image and copying a link happen in your browser and send none of these to us.
Your browser loads our pages, photos and public recipe list from our host. These requests carry no recipe book, notes or other progress. If you turn on Analytics, isthebestrecipe.com counts your visit with Cloudflare Web Analytics, as described under Cookies, tracking and Do Not Track.
Daily emails
In short We use your email address to send the daily email you chose and don't sell it. We keep the sign-up record for 4 years after you unsubscribe.
isthebestquiz.com and isthebestsudoku.com offer an optional daily email: you enter your email address and check the box. Where isthebestnetwork.com/subscribe is open, you sign up there for the daily email by entering your first name and email address and pressing Subscribe. No account is needed. If you have an account, you can also choose daily topics from our sites. All the topics you choose by email come together in one email, the IsTheBestNetwork Daily. It comes at most once a day, or weekly or monthly if you choose, and you can pause it.
The daily email and daily texts are separate choices, and optional choices are never preselected. Using the sites never signs you up for them, and we send no other marketing email.
We send a daily email only to people who signed up for it, through our CRM, described under Companies that help us run the sites. Every daily email says who it is from, carries our postal address and has a working unsubscribe link.
When you sign up, the sign-up sends us your email address, your consent (that you agreed, when, and the exact words you agreed to), the site you signed up on and, if the sign-up includes it, your streak in days at that moment. A sign-up on isthebestnetwork.com/subscribe also sends your first name. We keep these together in our email list. A daily email you choose in your account is recorded as described under Consent records.
We use your address to send the daily email you asked for and to keep a record of your consent. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising.
You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any daily email, in your account, or by writing to hello@isthebestnetwork.com. The IsTheBestNetwork Daily has one unsubscribe link that stops it and a second link that stops all our marketing email.
We keep your address and sign-up record while you are subscribed, and for 4 years after you unsubscribe, so we can show what you agreed to. Then we delete them, except the do-not-contact entry described under Consent records. A deletion request ends this sooner, as described under Consent records.
To stop one person flooding the sign-up, each sign-up is checked against a short-lived count of recent sign-ups, kept in memory and keyed to a scrambled (one-way) form of your network (IP) address. It is used only for this check and is not written to storage. Your network (IP) address is also recorded in our security records, described under Security.
Text messages (SMS)
In short Texts are optional, for people 18 or older with US mobile numbers. We don't share your number for marketing. Reply STOP anytime.
IsTheBestNetwork and its sites are brands of EverIntent LLC. Our daily texts are optional and only for people 18 or older with US mobile numbers. They are offered on our sign-up page at isthebestnetwork.com/subscribe and, if you have an account, on our sites that show a text option for their daily topic. Each text box names the site and topic it covers, and checking it agrees to texts for that topic only.
If you choose daily texts, we collect your mobile phone number, the date and time you opted in, the page where you opted in, the exact words you agreed to and their version, and the messages we send you and you send us. For a text choice made in your account, we also keep your network (IP) address and browser details. We use this information only to send the texts you asked for, to respond to HELP and STOP requests, and to keep a record of your consent.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
We may share your number only with service providers that help us deliver texts or provide customer support, and only for that purpose. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every other category of sharing described on this page and will not be sold, rented or shared with any third party.
Texts come from (562) 684-6483. We send up to 1 daily-topic marketing text per number per day across all the topics you choose, plus the opt-in confirmation and replies to HELP or opt-out requests described in our Terms. We send daily-topic texts between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. your local time, subject to any shorter hours that apply where you are. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE, to any message. This stops all our texts to that number. You can also turn off one topic in your account. Reply HELP for help, or write to hello@isthebestnetwork.com. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We keep your number and text consent record while you are subscribed to texts, and for 4 years after you opt out, so we can show what you agreed to. Then we delete them, except the do-not-contact entry described under Consent records. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your information, Consent records explains what we keep.
Consent records
In short We record what you agreed to, when, and from which network address and browser, and keep it for 4 years after you stop.
When you choose a daily email or text in your account, or stop one, we record the site and topic, whether it is email or text, the exact words you were shown and their version, the versions of our Terms and this page shown with them, the date and time, the page address, and your network (IP) address and browser (user agent) details. For texts, the record also holds your mobile number. Each later change or opt-out is added to the record; we do not overwrite it.
We use these records to send only what you chose, to stop when you ask, and to show what you agreed to.
We keep consent records while you are subscribed and for 4 years after you unsubscribe or opt out, so we can show what you agreed to, and then delete them.
If you delete your account or ask us to delete your information, we delete the related consent records, except the do-not-contact entry described below. For daily texts, we keep only your mobile number, the words you agreed to and their version, and the dates and times, with no name or email, until 4 years after your text consent ended, and then delete them.
Do-not-contact list: if you ask us to stop emails or texts, we keep your email address or mobile number and the date of your request on that list for as long as needed to honor it, even after a deletion request.
Calls to us
In short An AI assistant may answer. Calls with it are transcribed and may be recorded, and we don't sell them or use them for ads.
We do not make marketing calls. Our phone line, (562) 684-6483, may be answered by an AI voice assistant, not a person. Before you speak with it, you hear a notice that it is an AI assistant and that our phone service provider transcribes your words for us, and, if the call will also be recorded, that it is recorded.
When you call, the phone system logs caller ID and call history. Calls with the assistant are transcribed and, if the notice says so, recorded. The assistant does not take messages. We keep the transcript, a summary, the details taken from it and any recording.
We use them to answer your call, to do what you ask, to keep a record of the call, and to check and improve our service, including the assistant's answers. We do not sell them or use them for advertising, and we do not use your voice to identify you.
GoHighLevel (HighLevel, Inc.) runs our phone line, the AI voice assistant, call recordings, transcripts and summaries. We give it call information only so it can run these services for EverIntent LLC. It uses its own service providers, such as phone carriers and speech and AI providers, to do this.
We keep each kind of information only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, then delete or deidentify it. You can ask us to delete a call's recording and transcript by writing to hello@isthebestnetwork.com.
Calling us never signs you up for our emails or texts.
If you ask the assistant during a call to text you a link, we send one text with that link to the number you are calling from, and we keep a record of it with the call. We use your number only to send that text. It is not marketing and does not sign you up for our texts.
If you tell the assistant you want our emails or texts to stop, we add your email address or number to our do-not-contact list, described under Consent records, within 10 business days.
Messages to us
In short Software, including AI, helps sort your messages, and a person sends every reply. We keep them 24 months after the conversation ends, or longer if a ban, appeal or legal claim needs them.
When you write to us through a form on our sites or by email, or reply to us, we keep what you send: your email address, your name if you give it, the topic and site you choose, your message, any notice number or mobile number you include, our replies and the ticket number. We keep them in our database, run by Amazon Web Services in the United States, and a copy of the conversation in our CRM, which sends our replies.
Software, including an AI service working for us, reads incoming messages to sort them and to suggest a reply, and may help review an appeal. A person decides on and sends every reply and decides every appeal.
We use your messages to answer you, keep a record, fix and improve our sites and, if you have an account, to understand which topics matter to you. We do not use them for advertising, and writing to us never signs you up for our emails or texts.
We keep messages for 24 months after the conversation ends, or longer while a ban, an appeal or a legal claim needs them.
Partners
In short We keep partner records to run the partnership and for 7 years after it ends. You get our marketing emails only if you sign up.
If you work with us as a partner or ask about partnering, we keep your name, work email, company or school, website, the kind of partnership you choose and your role if you tell us, and our messages, agreements and files with your company, to discuss and run the partnership. We do not add you to our marketing emails unless you sign up.
We keep partner records while the partnership lasts and for 7 years after it ends, for our business and tax records. Inquiries that do not become a partnership are kept as messages, as described under Messages to us.
Companies that help us run the sites
In short Vercel, GoHighLevel, Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare help run the sites. We don't sell your information, and we share it only as this page describes.
Hosting: Vercel hosts the websites. Like any web host, it receives your network address and browser details when you visit, so that it can deliver the pages. Vercel keeps its own request logs for a limited time.
Email lists, email, texts and calls (CRM): our CRM is GoHighLevel (HighLevel, Inc.). It sends our account and daily email, our texts and our replies to your messages, and keeps our email lists, sign-up records and a copy of each conversation. Daily email sign-ups on isthebestquiz.com and isthebestsudoku.com are kept in EverIntent LLC's own GoHighLevel account. Sign-ups on isthebestnetwork.com/subscribe, including any text consent, and a copy of each account's contact details and daily choices are kept in a separate IsTheBestNetwork account, which also runs our phone line. Both accounts belong to EverIntent LLC.
Accounts: Amazon Web Services (AWS) runs our database and servers, in the United States. Your account and consent records are stored there. Our servers there also keep request and security logs. Some of these logs are deleted automatically after 90 days; others are kept until we delete them.
Email delivery: Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) and our own mail servers handle email to and from our isthebestnetwork.com addresses, including your messages to us and our replies. When you write to our support address, the email that confirms your address for that request, and our replies about it, come from that support address through Amazon SES. An AI service working for us reads incoming messages only to sort them, suggest replies and help review appeals, and may not use them for anything else.
Domain names (DNS): Cloudflare runs our domain names.
Visit counting, only if you turn on Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.), without cookies.
We give these providers information only so they can provide their services to us. Each provider controls its own systems and may apply its own terms and privacy notice.
There is no advertising on these sites. We do not sell your information.
We may also share information when the law requires it, such as for a court order, or when needed to protect someone's safety or our legal rights. If EverIntent LLC or one of our sites is sold or reorganized, the information for it may pass to the new owner, who must keep the promises on this page for it. Text message opt-in data and consent are never part of such a transfer.
Your data rights
In short Ask to see, correct or delete your information at hello@isthebestnetwork.com, wherever you live. With an account, you can also download your data or delete the account from your account page.
To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, write to hello@isthebestnetwork.com. You can ask wherever you live. We may need to check that a request comes from you before we act on it. Someone you authorize can also ask for you; we may ask them to show that you authorized them. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If we turn down a request, we tell you why. To appeal, reply to our answer or write to hello@isthebestnetwork.com with the word Appeal, and we will look at it again and tell you the result.
If you have an account, you can download a copy of your account information, including your choices and consent history, in a portable, readily usable format from your account page.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time from your account page or by writing to hello@isthebestnetwork.com. Deleting your Network account removes its profile, sign-in sessions and daily choices and stops the daily messages linked to it. Once those steps are confirmed, we email you a receipt. We then remove the CRM record used only for that account. Where a record also serves a separate subscription, we preserve that subscription and remove only the account-related information that is no longer needed. Your deletion result explains any remaining cleanup and any records kept, with the reason for keeping them. We keep a record of a privacy request for 24 months after we close it, and a record of a deletion request, or of an instruction not to sell or share, for as long as needed to keep that information deleted or that instruction in effect. If you sign up later with the same email after deletion is complete, you start a new, empty account.
We keep backup copies of our database so we can recover it. Some copies are removed automatically on a schedule; others are kept until we remove them. Information deleted from the live database may remain in a backup until that copy is removed.
If an email from us bounces or is reported as spam, our email providers may keep the address on lists that stop further sending to it. Those lists are separate from your account, and deleting your account may not remove the address from them.
Sign-ups made without an account, such as a daily email on isthebestquiz.com, are not part of your account. To stop them, use the unsubscribe link or reply STOP; to delete them, write to hello@isthebestnetwork.com.
You can also clear your progress yourself, stop a daily email with the unsubscribe link in every daily email or in your account, and stop daily texts by replying STOP.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To ask about this, or to make any privacy request, write to hello@isthebestnetwork.com.
Security
In short We use appropriate safeguards, but no service can guarantee perfect security. Security records are kept up to 90 days to protect the sites and enforce our Terms.
No Internet service can guarantee perfect security. We use safeguards appropriate to our sites, accounts, sign-up records, call records and privacy request records, limit access to the people who handle them, and investigate issues we identify. Our sites use HTTPS to encrypt information in transit.
Sign-in links and codes are sent only to your email address, expire after a short time and work only once.
Security records: with every action on our sites, we record your network (IP) address, your browser, device and app details (such as the user agent your browser sends), the site, the action and the time. We use these records only to keep the sites and accounts secure, to prevent abuse and fraud, and to enforce our Terms, including blocking a network address or device. If you have an account, this is part of using it and cannot be turned off. Under California law, these are identifiers and internet or other electronic network activity information. We do not sell or share them.
We keep these security records for up to 90 days and then delete them. If we block a network (IP) address or device, we keep it on our block list for as long as the block lasts. We keep the record of a ban, its reason and any appeal for as long as the ban lasts, and other enforcement records, such as refused attempts, suspensions, removals of something you submitted and their appeals, for up to 24 months. A deletion request does not remove these records sooner where we need them for security, to prevent fraud or to enforce our Terms, and your deletion result says so.
Children
In short Our sites aren't for children under 13, and accounts are for people 18 or older.
Our sites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to hello@isthebestnetwork.com and we will delete it.
Accounts are for people 18 or older. Signing up for a daily email without an account, on isthebestnetwork.com/subscribe or the Quiz and Sudoku email forms, is for people 13 or older. If you are under 13, please do not sign up.
We ask your birth month and year when you create an account or use the sign-up page on isthebestnetwork.com. If an answer shows you are under 13, the sign-up is refused before an account, subscription or contact is created. If you are under 18, no account is created and you can keep using the sites without one. On the sign-up page, texts are not added if you are under 18. A daily email topic about alcohol is added only if that same birth month and year show you are 21 or older; it is never offered by text. Your answer is used only for these checks and is not kept with your account or consent records. Limited request and security records, such as our host's standard logs, may still exist as described above.
Changes to this page
In short Every change gets a new version and date. We ask your consent before using what we already hold in a materially different way.
This page shows its version number and the date it took effect at the top. When we change it, we publish a new version here, with a new number and date. We do not change a published version.
Before a material change applies to how we handle your account, we explain it when you next use your account, including when you are already signed in. We will not use information we already hold about you in a materially different way without your consent.
We do not email you about changes.
Your account records which versions of this page you were shown. If we ask you to agree to a materially different use of information we already hold about you, we record that specific use and your choice separately.
